Top Gear
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will let your mates live out their ultimate car fantasies through this popular British TV series. All three presenters along with The Stig (known to be the only person to survive a Chuck Norris showdown) test drive and review all manner of exotic vehicles.
While some of the road tests are truly breathtaking (Maseratis, Vipers, and much more), each show also comprises segments where they race each other in various forms of vehicles, making for quite a funny show. There’s a certain level of humour that goes along with this series, so while they are experts in their field, they don’t take themselves too seriously.
Entourage Season 6
Ever wondered what it would be like to be an exceptionally famous actor, earn an exorbitant amount of money, have women-a-plenty and be invited to tinsel town’s most extravagant parties (not to mention bring all your mates along for the ride?)
This is what ‘Entourage’ is all about. Vincent Chase (played by Adrian Grenier), is the main character in the show and his “entourage” comprises a bunch of people who hang on to his celebrity status, including a half brother, assistants, and Ari Gold, the super agent.
If none of these great box sets appeals to your blokehood, then some others to look for are ‘Man vs Wild’, ‘Hurt Locker’ or just about any Clint Eastwood movie from the ‘60s and ‘70s. All of these great shows will either get you thinking, laughing or a little bit of both – and definitely make for a great night in with your mates!
