In the past two days, Ideal DVD Software recevied many reports about failing to copy the DVD ” Twilight saga new moon “. By analyzing the files users offered, they found there’re four different editions of the DVD so far. And they’ve solved them and have uploaded the fixes to their server. Since Ideal DVD Copy version 3.2.3, they will only upload new fixes to their server, won’t include them in the setup file untile next upgrade, so if you’re still using the old version, please first upgrade to v3.2.3, you may download it from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/dvd-copy.htm . Then follow the instructions below to get the new fixes. If you already installed version 3.2.3, just go to Step 1 directly. Step 1: “Check Update” to ensure all the fixes on their server have been downloaded to your PC. You may click the icon on the left top of window of Ideal DVD Copy , then click “Check Update”. After finished, you will get “Update finished” message. Attention: If you got “Ideal DVD Copy update failed. Please check your network or the configuration of your anti-virus and firewall software”, you may close your anti-virus or firewall software, then try again. Or just click “Always allow” when your anti-virus or firewall software reports Ideal DVD Copy is trying to access internet. Step 2: Try to copy the DVD again. Attention: The DVD has a special structure, Ideal DVD Copy can’t compress it to a correct size. If you want to compress the DVD to a 4.7GB disc with “Entire disc” copy mode, you should refer to http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/bb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1132 to learn how to do that. If you still failed on those DVDs, that mostly means the edition of your DVD isn’t one of which they’ve known. Please just keep the DVD in your DVD drive, then click the icon on the left top window of Ideal DVD Copy, then click “Export bup files”, and then you will get a .buz file, just save it to your desktop, then enclose it in your email, they will give you a fix within one business day. In fact, Ideal DVD Copy v3.2.3 added “auto-update anti-copy protection module” feature, if you have enable this feature, then Ideal DVD Copy will automatically check if there’s a new fix and then download it to your PC. But from their users’ log files, they found although they have enabled “auto-update” feature, for some reason, the update failed. So you’d better follow the above steps before copying a new released DVD to avoid a bad copy.
